SUN CITY QUILTERS CLUB
The Purpose of the Sun City Quilters is to learn about and perpetuate the art of quilt making and related topics, to learn new techniques, improve skills, share ideas and have FUN!
Membership is open to all residents and renters with a current resident ID card. The annual fee of $15 is collected when you join and renewed annually in January. If you are a new member and join after our October meeting, you will get a few free months AND be paid up for the next calendar year. We have sewing machines and tools available as well as fabric for charity quilts that you can use during Open Sewing.
The quilters meet in the Sewing Studio at Mountainview Clubhouse every Wednesday and Friday and the 3rd Saturday each month year round between 9:00 a.m. and 4:00pm (summer hours vary).
Business meetings with Show and Share are held the first Wednesday of each month at 1 pm (except June, July, August and September) in the Mountainview Clubhouse, Ventana Room. Members work on personal projects for family and friends, group charity projects, learn new skills, share their recent quilting creations, attend quilting events throughout the Coachella Valley and California and have fun.
